Practicing gratitude is one of the simplest, most powerful and accessible ways to live a more joyful fulfilling life, regardless of what is going on in your life or the world.

Gratitude is a positive emotion that helps naturally elevate mood, joy, and appreciation; attract more good things into your life; provide a sense of balance and perspective; shift your energy, and bring more of what you want into your life.

This inspirational workshop led by licensed  psychologist Dr. Margaret DeLong covers simple, doable, powerful daily exercises in gratitude that take less than five minutes a day. These exercises will guide you from your first waking moments, to when your head hits the pillow at the end of the day, and will show you how to harness the power of gratitude to heal and grow at different moments in your everyday life.

Known as "The Gratitude Psychologist", Delong works with private therapy clients and community/business groups in fostering gratitude and cultivating joy in everyday living.

She has written 2 books, "I Can See Clearly Now: A Memoir About Love, Grief, and Gratitude", and Her latest book published in 2020 - Feeling Good: 35 Proven Ways to Happiness, Even During Tough Times, both  published by Peacock Proud Press.

The program is open to all and no registration is required.

It is made possible with the support of The Friends of the Livingston Public Library.
