Backyard bird feeding can be an incredibly rewarding experience, offering a front-row seat to nature's colorful spectacle right in your own yard. However, it’s easy to fall into a few common traps that can actually do more harm than good for the birds.
This presentation will offer guidance and suggestions on the do’s and don’ts of the backyard bird feeding hobby so as to ensure your efforts help the birds thrive all year long. It will review the common mistakes that are made when feeding backyard birds, ways to avoid or prevent them and share practical tips and suggestions to help make the hobby more productive, safe and enjoyable.
Presented by Jim Walker, 35 year bird enthusiast and owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Denville.
This program is made possible with the support of The Friends of the Livingston Public Library.
