Event Details

Enjoy cooking, sharing ideas, and kitchen tips, while enjoying great food?  Join the Livingston Public Library's Cookbook Club!  We meet once every other month to create recipes from a cookbook to share and discuss.

How does Cookbook Club work?  Copies of the selected title are available at the main desk.   Choose a recipe and email Melissa Brisbin before the due date at melissa.brisbin@livingston.bccls.org.  Create your dish and be ready to discuss and share with others.  The Library will provide dishes, utensils, and water.  If participants do not find a recipe they would like to create from the selected cookbook, the Library offers the New York Times Cooking database, full of 1000s of recipes. (Access to NYT's Cooking does require a Livingston Library card).

For January 2026 we will be creating recipes from What Goes with What by Julia Turshen. Copies are available for checkout at the main desk one month prior to the meeting.
