Program Description

Event Details

Join us after school for a monthly hands-on STEAM experience! Children in grades 3-5 will learn about the science behind the experiment of the day, then work on their own project with assistance.

Weather permitting, this month's activity will be cyanotype printing (also known as "sun printing"), exploring the electromagnetic spectrum and the sun's effect on sensitized paper. All supplies will be provided, but children are welcome to bring things from home (leaves, flowers, small objects, etc.) that they would like to try printing onto their paper.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Livingston Library.
