Program Description

Event Details

Join us at the Livingston Public Library on Wednesday, November 29th from 6:30pm to 8pm for a presentation by the Livingston First Aid Squad on the basics of CPR and AED. CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, a lifesaving method that requires rhythmic compressing of a person’s chest when their heart has stopped. AED stands for Automated External Defibrillator, a lifesaving machine that will restart the heart when it stops. These machines can commonly be found in public areas. Both these procedures save lives and are important for everyone to know.

This program is open to all Livingston residents ages 18 and older and requires registration. Registration opens at 10am on Monday, November 13th.

Note: this program is to learn life-skills and for general information about CPR and AED, not for certification.
