LinkedIn, used by millions of job seekers, working professionals and hiring managers to source opportunities and talent, can be a valuable tool for recent college graduates to build their professional network, enhance their job search, and establish a strong online presence.

If you are a new college grad entering the job market, this workshop will show  you how to better market yourself online and conduct a productive job search using the tool. You will learn how to conduct outreach to build an effective network and how to construct a powerful "About" section summary on your profile so recruiters can find you.

This workshop will be led by Lauren Markon, owner of Career Connections NJ in Livingston and Employer Relations Specialist at Montclair State University’s Career Center for the College of Science and Mathematics. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Hunter College and has been working as a Career Services Specialist for the past 24 years. Lauren has a broad range of experience and specializes in customizing targeted resumes and developing strategic LinkedIn profiles. She has spoken at many venues throughout the state and taught workshops on resume writing, interviewing, returning to work, networking, and utilizing LinkedIn for your job search.

The workshop is open to all but registration is required.
