LinkedIn is a tool that is used by hundreds of millions of college students, job seekers, working professionals and hiring managers to source opportunities and talent, create an online professional presence, and network. Very often, the LinkedIn profile is the first link that shows up in a Google search. A professionally written LinkedIn profile serves as your branding statement and introduction to the professional world.

Attendees of this workshop will learn:

• how to create a compelling LinkedIn profile

• what sections of your LinkedIn profile are “heavy hitters” and how to ensure your profile gets seen by hiring managers

• how to navigate most of the site’s  features including groups, alumni pages and the job search tool

• how to use LinkedIn as a research and networking tool via your Connections

The workshop will be presented by Jennifer Rodgers who has 25 years of human resources and career consulting experience, and runs her own career coaching practice.

The program is open to all and no registration is required.

It is made possible with the support of The Friends of the Livingston Public Library.
