Join speaker Ugene Gabrielle Sano as she discusses pharmacy myths and what really goes on behind the counter. 

The talk will cover: pharmacy basics, including the compounding and dispensing of the drugs, the science and origin of the medications, and the counseling of patients regarding side effects and proper usage.  She will address the myth that they only work behind the counter in retail settings.  Come hear the full story of what the pharmacists really do!

Ugene Gabrielle Sano is currently a PGY-2 Geriatrics Pharmacy Resident at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. She completed her pharmacy degree at the University of Rhode Island and her PGY-1 residency experience at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. She is originally from Houston, Texas.
