The practice of yoga is very beneficial to one’s physical and mental health.

Just some of the possible benefits of regular practice yoga include:

- increased strength, balance & muscle tone

- improved concentration, flexibility and digestion

- relaxation and overall harmony of body & mind

- increased energy and ability to manage stress

Join us for our new monthly yoga session led by certified yoga instructor Allison Eglow.

This class is designed to help participants progress from a beginner to an intermediate level in their yoga practice.

Allison will suggest modification of asanas (poses) that will help those with injuries or other limitations to be safe in their practice while taking the more experienced practitioners into deeper variations.  She will emphasize listening to your body and doing what you are able to do, and not be pressured to follow your classmates.

Participants are requested to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and towel.

This session is open to Livingston Library cardholders 18 and up and space is limited.

Registration is required.
