If you are one of the 50 million Americans, or nearly 1.5 billion people worldwide, living with ringing in your ears and have been told 'there's nothing you can do about it,' this talk is for you.
Tinnitus is most often the result of a progressive degenerative disorder that significantly impacts your personal relationships, your ability to work, your sleep, and your brain. The ringing in your ears may even be an early indicator of cognitive decline and dementia.
Simple, affordable, and extremely effective treatment exists. During this talk, Dr. Jules May, Clinical Audiologist and Certified Tinnitus Practitioner will share with you:
- The Truth About Why You Have Tinnitus
- The Mistruths About Tinnitus And Disproven Treatments
- How To Effectively Reduce, or Eliminate, Your Tinnitus
Dr. May has a background as a competitive figure skater. Throughout her athletic career, she encountered various complex injuries that were often overlooked or met with the assumption that they would resolve on their own—an experience that profoundly shaped her desire to help others. Driven by the belief that no health issue should go unaddressed, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Loyola University, Maryland, followed by a Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated as valedictorian. Her personal challenges have instilled in Dr. May a commitment to patient care, and to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
