Program Description

Event Details

Community members, educators, and local leaders are invited to come together in support of student expression and thoughtful dialogue at the Third Annual Social Justice Read-In: an afternoon of student voices, creativity, and courage.

Hosted in partnership with the Livingston High School National English Honor Society, this inspiring event is set up in a welcoming coffee house style, where students share original poetry, readings, music, and spoken word, centered on themes of social justice and equity. Attendees can also explore interactive displays created by various LHS clubs, highlighting influential authors and activists who have shaped movements for change.

Please note: Participation is limited to student speakers, performers and club displays that have been pre-approved by Livingston High School's National English Honor Society Board. No walk-in speakers, performers, or displays will be permitted.
