Program Description

Event Details

Whether we are living through a historic moment of time or simply recording thoughts and experiences of our daily lives, journaling can be a rich record of our own growth through moments of challenge, triumphs, losses, and of the relationships that matter most. Join us to jot down thoughts and emotions that plumb the depths of our moment in time.

This program will be led by Judith Lindbergh, founder and director of The Writers Circle. Judith's new novel, Akmaral, was published by Regal House Publishing in May 2024. Her debut novel, The Thrall’s Tale, was a Booksense (IndieBound) Pick, a Borders Original Voices Selection, and praised by Pulitzer Prize winners Geraldine Brooks and Robert Olen Butler. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including in Zibby Magazine, Next Avenue, Writer’s Digest, Edible Jersey, Archaeology Magazine, Other Voices, and UP HERE: The North at the Center of the World, published by University of Washington Press.

Space is limited for this program; registration is required. Registration will open at 10 AM on Monday, August 26, 2024.

This event is funded by the Friends of the Livingston Public Library. It is free and open to everyone.
