Grades 5 and under
Start the school year with a calm and focused mind! Through playful poses, breathing exercises, and fun mindfulness activities, children will develop the tools to help them stay relaxed & focused both in and outside of the classroom.
In this class, we'll:
- Engage in simple yoga poses to improve flexibility and strength.
- Learn breathing techniques and relaxation methods to manage stress and promote a sense of calm.
- Fun, interactive activities help improve concentration and build confidence.
- Gentle mindfulness practices that teach kids to be present and positive.
Whether it’s shaking off first-day jitters or setting intentions for the year ahead, Back to School Yoga is the perfect way to start the school year to help get ready for the adventure ahead!
Bring your mat and drop in, registration is not required. The library has a limited supply of yoga mats.
