Join historical speaker, Robbie Amodeo, for a guided tour of the pioneering women icons that built today's multi-billion dollar beauty industry.

From Ancient Egypt, to 1800's Paris, and covering the turn of the 20th Century through today,  explore how the beauty industry was built.  Robbie will show that American culture is more than skin-deep; and how embracing beauty is as much about the financial business, as it is about world events, society and a shift from a taboo to a norm. Discover how beauty products and make-up even played an important role in World War II.   

Speaker & designer, Robbie Amodeo, works on Broadway, television and film in all facets of costume, wig and make-up design.  Robbie’s presentation will include slides, videos and actual pieces of antiquity to share and discuss.
