Join us for an informative presentation that will provide a comprehensive overview of Medicare, and help demystify its basics.

Medicare includes Part A (hospital stays) and Part B (doctor visits), with extra choices like Medicare Advantage (Part C), prescription drug plans (Part D), and Medigap to cover additional costs.  This talk will help you understand your different health insurance options under Medicare as you approach 65 or if you have certain disabilities.

Topics that will be covered include: Medicare Parts A & B, eligibility and enrollment, costs and coverage gaps, cost saving tips and special circumstances.

The goal is to make navigating these options easy, understand enrollment periods, and manage costs.  Tips and guidance will be provided so you can make informed decisions about your Medicare coverage.  The talk will also address the changes to Medicare in 2025, and where to find additional information and assistance.

Speaker Bill Krakower is a dedicated professional with over seventeen years of experience as an educator. Bill’s transition into the insurance industry was inspired by personal experience. After his mother passed away at the age of 71, Bill realized the importance of proper healthcare and financial planning. Witnessing the challenges his mother faced with Medicare and long-term care motivated him to obtain his life and health insurance licenses. Specializing in life insurance and Medicare Advantage plans, he is passionate about  helping individuals approaching retirement understand their healthcare options.
