Program Description

Event Details

Long-term care involves a variety of services designed to meet a person’s health or personal care needs when they can no longer perform everyday activities on their own, to  help them  live as independently and safely as possible. Studies have shown that most adults do not feel prepared to handle the costs of long-term care and have not taken financial or practical steps to plan for care needs that might arise in the future.

Join financial adviser Fred Ciccone for an informative session on long term care (LTC) planning, services and costs.  This program is suitable for adults of all ages, since the earlier a person addresses LTC, the more options they have.

Fred’s talk will begin with a section to introduce people to the way LTC  needs are defined and assessed by healthcare professionals, the state of NJ and insurance companies. He will then cover the types of LTC available and strategies to pay for LTC.  He will talk of the pros and cons of the different methods of financing LTC and share the advantages of planning early in life versus planning late.

This program is open to all and does not require registration.
