Program Description
Event Details
Makers of History is a series where we engage in STEM activities inspired by famous figures.
In our interactive sessions, we will learn about famous trailblazers and make our own creations based upon their work in the field of science. This event is open to children in grades K-5.
For Hispanic Heritage Month, we will be learning about Emerson Romero (1900-1972), a Deaf actor who created some of the first captions for movies. We will then create our own "film" reels and learn how people splice film together.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Livingston Library.
