Life runs more smoothly when your home is set up to support your daily routines but getting there can feel overwhelming.
In this talk, professional organizer Leydi breaks down the process of creating simple, sustainable organizing systems for the areas of the home that tend to cause the most frustration: kitchens, entryways, and paper management, amongst others.
Participants will get tips on the following topics:
- How to streamline high-traffic spaces so they stay functional, even on busy days.
- Decluttering strategies for kitchens and pantries to maximize space and make meal prep easier.
- Entryway solutions to tame shoes, bags, mail, and “drop zone” clutter so your home feels welcoming the moment you walk in.
- Practical paper management systems for mail, bills, kids’ schoolwork, and important documents — so piles stop taking over.
- Simple habits and routines that help maintain order with minimal effort.
This session is full of real-life examples, organizing inspiration, and practical tips leaving participants feeling motivated and confident to tackle their own spaces right away.
From an early age, Leydi discovered her talent for helping others, solving problems, and creating order—skills that naturally led her to a career as a professional organizer. After a successful 20-year career in Higher Education Administration, she combined her organizational expertise and lifelong passion for design to launch her own business, helping clients transform their spaces with style and function.
This program is made possible with the support of the Friends of the Livingston Public Library.
