Join us on Sunday, July 21st at 2pm for an author visit with Dr. Nidhi Thakur in honor of South Asian Heritage Month. Nidhi is an Indian American bi-lingual poet/writer writing on all things culture-climate-chaos in English and Hindustani language. Her previous works have been published in anthologies, and her spoken poetry has been featured in various venues, including the Jaipur Lit Fest-virtual. "When She Married Dr. Patekar and Other Stories" is her debut book, on immigrant sensibilities in a post-9/11 U.S.A., and is available globally on Amazon. The author is at www.nidhithakur.com. She currently teaches Economics and writes and lives in Short Hills, NJ, with her husband and two daughters. Her book is now a finalist for the American Book Fest-Fiction (Multicultural) genre.

The author will read parts of the book, including the Hindustani couplets that have appeared in the book-and their translations in English, followed by a Discussion/Q&A with the attending public. There will be copies of her book to purchase.

This event is free and open to all and registration is not required.
