Do you find Medicare, the federal health insurance program for people over 65, hard to understand and complex to navigate? Do you wonder if you should enroll in Medicare at 65 if you’re still working? What about disability and Medicare?

To learn more and get answers to your questions, join us for an overview presentation on Medicare. Financial professional Fred Ciccone will help familiarize you with the nature of Medicare, understand its complexities (especially since the system has undergone changes in the last few years), and show you how to get the best value for your money.

He will cover:

  • The Components of Medicare (Parts A, B, C (also called Advantage Plans), D, Supplements) and how they work - what they cover and what they don’t – who provides them
  • The Enrollment Process
  • The Associated Costs of Medicare
  • Additional Benefits and Concerns
  • Special considerations for situations like disability, Medicaid, etc.

This session is helpful to those who are approaching Medicare age and those already enrolled in the system.

Fred first  started working in this business providing Medicare supplements and part C plans to seniors which required compliance and understanding. Even though he has expanded into other areas, he still provides Medicare to seniors and stays abreast of all the yearly changes through courses and readings. In addition, he is on Medicare himself, which has given him some new insights in navigating the system which he hopes to convey.
