Interested in learning how you can keep your home warm all winter while saving on utility bills?

Join this presentation by locally owned RSE Energy Group and PSE&G and learn of smart ways to maintain your home’s warmth all winter while reducing energy bills.

Ronald Raymond, owner of certified Minority Business Enterprise RSE Energy Group and an Essex County resident will discuss practical DIY tips for improving winter energy efficiency without needing to hire any professionals — changing thermostat settings at certain times of day, investing in insulated window coverings, shutting out drafts, using a home’s natural sun exposures to warm rooms, and other ways.

For those who want to know what the most advanced heating (and cooling) technologies in the market are, Ronald will give an update on how some newer systems allow for remote monitoring of a home. Many use smartphone apps that allow homeowners to return from a winter getaway and walk into a warm and toasty well-lit home, rather than a cold and dark house that will take hours to warm up. He will explain the latest technology integrated into new equipment that elevates efficiency, sustainability and even allows for remote control of heating and cooling systems.

No New Jersey resident needs to suffer through cold winter nights with a malfunctioning heating system thanks to utility company and government-sponsored incentives and rebates.

Far too few residents of New Jersey are accessing these rebates which often cover more than 50 percent of the cost of equipment upgrades while driving down monthly utility bills and protecting the environment.  Utility companies and government entities offer these programs because they promote sustainability — the new heating (and cooling) technologies are healthier for the environment and drive down homeowners’ monthly costs. And rebates are available for components as well as whole systems, as it's often unnecessary to replace an entire system.

A speaker from PSE&G will illuminate the incentives and rebates available to New Jersey residents who get these benefits through the state and their local utilities to defray the cost of updating heating and other HVAC equipment that is failing or may have become obsolete.

This program is open to all and no registration is required.
