DESCRIPTION:Spice up your kitchen with the Livingston Public Library’s 
 Spice It Up! program. From seeds to spices, the Livingston Library has eve
 rything you need to elevate your culinary creations. We offer more than ju
 st ingredients, we provide a journey. Every spice has a history, every see
 d a legacy. Understanding their origins, the cultures that cultivated them
 , and the traditions they represent adds depth to your cooking. It transfo
 rms every meal into an experience, connecting you to the rich tapestry of 
 flavors and stories from around the world. Starting Wednesday, July 1st a
 t 10am, you may pick our packaged spice kits by the Reference Desk and by 
 the NEW cookbooks. The spice for July is Mint. Each kit will contain a sam
 ple packet of the month’s spice and a QR code leading to the history beh
 ind it as well as recipe recommendations. Kits are sponsored by the Frien
 ds of the Library and are available while supplies last.Interested in expl

 here you can borrow and donate seeds for growing flowers, herbs and vegeta
 bles. Explore Library Chef, an online platform that offers live virtual co
 oking demonstrations, and consider joining our Cookbook Club, which meets 
 bi-monthly and shares recipes from a selected cookbook.
