 rful board books, rhymes, soft songs, and American Sign Language, all tail
 ored to support early language development while promoting developmental m
 ilestones like motor skills, social interaction, and auditory awareness. W
 e provide a safe, inclusive environment where babies can wiggle, giggle, a
 nd enjoy each moment with you!Storytime is a special bonding time for you 
 and your child. We’ve created some guidelines to help ensure that your e
 xperience is safe and fun for everyone!TO PREPARE FOR STORYTIME:Bring your
  child to the library. Children who visit in advance and are familiar with
  their surroundings tend to be less apprehensive and more attentive. Read
  to your child daily! Reading helps to provide early language and literacy
  skills, helps build memory with repetition, provides phonological awarene
 ss and listening skills, helps children develop a lifetime love of books, 
 and so much more! DAY OF STORYTIME:Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before st
 orytime begins. Arriving on time gives you a chance to socialize with oth
 ers and ensures that you will be able to participate in all of the fun act
 ivities of the session. We also aim to minimize distractions and be respec
 tful to the group. Parent/Caregiver participation is essential to storyti
 me success! Adults model good behavior for children by being attentive an
 d listening to the stories and songs. Maximize your storytime experience b
 y muting all devices and saving adult conversations until after story time
 .Do not bring food to storytime. For the safety of the group and to minim
 ize distractions, do not bring food to storytime. Breastfeeding and bottl
 e feeding are welcomed.If your child is not interested, it’s OK to step
  away and regroup. You can always try again a few minutes later or anothe
