Grades K and up

Emerging readers pair up with trained Teen Mentors to practice reading and help increase sight word recognition and vocabulary. 

This program is designed for children entering Kindergarten and up who are beginning to read independently.

Space is determined by the number of Teen Volunteers; we will work to accommodate as many young readers as possible. See note below regarding tickets.

Unattended Policy

Children under age 12: a parent or responsible caregiver (age 16 or older) must remain with the child or remain in the Library and be immediately accessible to the child at all times, including when a child is attending a library program. 

Tickets available

Priority is given to Livingston Library card holders due to space limitations; please show your Livingston Library card to pick up tickets at the Youth Services Desk 30 minutes before the program start time. Non Livingston card holders will be placed on standby.
