ELL Watch and Write

English Language Learners will watch short films (3-5 minutes) as inspiration for writing. Learners will discuss the film and be given a writing prompt to complete. Students will be able to write a topic sentence, explain the guiding idea, give an example, explain the example, and write a concluding sentence based on the short film.

Who should register? English Language Learners with a proficient understanding of the English language that want to improve their writing and reading English skills. Students should have a proficient ability to write grammatically correct sentences. Registration not required. Drop-Ins welcome.
