Program Description

Event Details

ELL Virtual Book Group: English Language Learners will have an opportunity to read, discuss, and write about literature in a friendly, collaborative environment with a trained facilitator. Students will read the novel,  Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis during the 6 week course.  

Who should register? Advanced English Language Learners with proficient reading, writing, and speaking English skills that would like to develop a more nuanced understanding of written English in novel form. Registration required.

How do patrons get a copy of the book? The Library has copies reserved and available for pick up. Ask at the Patrons Services desk for a copy of Bud, Not Buddy to use for the ELL Book Club.
