Program Description
Event Details
Makers of History is a series where we engage in STEM activities inspired by famous figures.
In our interactive sessions, we will learn about famous trailblazers and make our own creations based upon their work in the field of science. This event is open to children in grades K-5.
For Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we will learn about Fazlur Rahman Khan, who was a Bangladeshi American engineer and architect who revolutionized skyscraper design. He is most famous for designing the Sears Tower (now the Willis Tower). Then we will make our own towers!
Sponsored by the Friends of the Livingston Library.
